Google account info if you sign in with Google
Username chosen by you (noor_name_xxxx format)
Usage Data:
Prayer tracking records (which prayers you mark)
Streak and performance statistics
Tasbih counter data
City name only — for accurate prayer times
Compass data — Qibla direction only, not stored
Social Features:
Friend connections made within the app
Dua requests, tasbih gifts, Islamic cards sent

Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication) — an enterprise-grade, encrypted cloud platform. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is used solely to operate and improve the Noor App experience.

Noor AI Feature
Noor App includes an AI-powered Islamic knowledge assistant. When you use this feature:
Your questions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API
Daily query count is tracked to prevent abuse (10/day)
We do not permanently store AI conversation content
Location: City-level only, for accurate prayer times and Qibla direction
Notifications: Prayer time reminders — optional, you can disable anytime
Internet: Required for syncing data and fetching prayer times
Camera / Storage: Only for profile photos and Islamic card creation

Data Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion:
All personal data is permanently removed from our servers
Prayer records and streaks are deleted
Social connections are removed
Deletion is irreversible

Children's Privacy
Noor App is designed for Muslim users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is necessary for app functionality. Parents may contact us at digitalbhera@gmail.com to request deletion of their child's data.
